Our Process

Here at Tonka Bay Fountains, you can purchase a Ready-Made Fountain that I have created, or you can commission a Special Order based on ideas from my portfolio, your vision, or both.

In either case, all fountains are Custom One-of-a-Kind Artworks made with real stone, using traditional and modern stone carving/core drilling techniques.

If you are interested in either a Ready-Made Fountain or a Special Order, here is more information:

➤ Ready-Made Fountains

• These fountains are completed and available for immediate sale, installation, or shipment within the continental U.S.
• All available pieces are listed in the Fountains section of the website.
• Some smaller fountains may qualify for free shipping if they do not exceed a certain weight.
• For customers within the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, installation is included in the overall price.
• For customers outside this area, Tonka Bay Fountains will provide a quote for special carrier shipping and offer guidance for local installation or DIY assembly.

➤ Special Order Fountains

• These usually begin when a customer sees a previously sold fountain or has a unique vision for a new piece.
• Customers are encouraged to reference examples they like from the Fountains section, Portfolio, Instagram, or Facebook.
• Based on this input, I will prepare a detailed proposal outlining design, terms, estimated build time, and pricing.
• Once approved and paid, I will begin the creation process.
• Local customers (Minneapolis–St. Paul) are invited to the studio to view the fountain during the build process and before installation.
• Out-of-state customers will receive updates via photos, videos, or video calls (e.g., FaceTime) for final approval prior to shipping.
